A Big Gospel Classics Welcome to the Legend: "Don Deal"!

Don Deal
Hear Don's Brand New Gospel Project "My Fathers Voice" just in time for Summer 2008!

A farm boy raised with six brothers at Honey Creek, IA.
Music has always been my life.
I’m serious, in my very first memory I’M LISTENING TO MUSIC. Dad and Mom, moved us to California when I was about fourteen. We settled in a small LA suburb Bell Gardens, now my appetite for music was starting to cook. I found a job at a wonderful family owned music store. A small recording studio was in the back. All the local boys would come there to work on their music WHAT MEMORIES!
Smoky Rodgers discovered me, and took me to San Diego. I sang in his Ballroom and a TV show from Tijuana, Mexico. One night Johnny Cash was the guest artist and I found my self on the road with him, Carl Perkins, and all his brothers for two years. I had been recording for ERA records in Hollywood, and doing well singing Rock A Billy. I moved to Capital Records, and then M-G-M. I have worked with most of the singing artists, and musicians, I performed the record hops, TV shows Including American Band Stand. I also write some songs. GOD, has been great to me. I’m thankful to be a part of music as I have known it. I want to serve GOD. I have been praying for a Ministry. I am so thrilled for this opportunity, if this music will help one soul to know the wonderful Love from GOD that you and I know, How Precious, How Precious! I hope you like my music and be part of this Ministry
I Thank You, so very much!
Until next time,
Don

A BIG Gospel Classics Welcome to "Gary and Carol Bibb"!

Gary & Carol Bibb
We are a husband and wife team both born and raised in Missouri. We both came from a long line of musical roots. We write and sing clean songs about issues of life, hope and love as an expression of the way we live our lives in relationship with other people and each other. For several years we were a part of the Bibb Family Band and performed as a group at state and local fairs, churches, festavals and local TV and radio stations. The family band performed opening acts for Johnny Paycheck, Ferlin Husky, Box Car Willie, Charlie McClain, Mel Tillis, Tom T Hall, Little Jimmy Dickens, Grady Nut from Hee Haw, Patric Duffy from the TV show Dallis, Natalie Cole, Ginger Rogers ext. The family band stopped performing several years ago. We had written many songs during our musical career but never took the time to record them until last year. We have now recorded and released nine singles through Nite*Sky and two with HMG, Each song is unique in both theme and music, We have many more to do and if the Good Lord is willing we will accomplish all of the songs and continue to release them.

Gospel Classics Welcomes Recording Artist "Jimmy Eaves"!
Jimmy Eaves
Jimmy was born in Eaves City, Oklahoma, a small town
that no longer exists. He lived in Eaves City and then in a small town
called Poolville where his great-uncle, Jim Eaves, homesteaded land
during the Oklahoma Land rush.
He got his first guitar ( a Gene Autry guitar) when he was about 7
years old. He was lucky to have and old gentleman neighbor teach him to
play the basic chords on the guitar. Jim performed in several churches
in the area, and would take his guitar to school to perform for his
classmates and teachers.
Hank Williams was his idol, but he loved all the "hillbilly" singers.
He appeared on a TV show in Lawton, Oklahoma, called "The Southwest
Jamboree" and also on a TV show called "The Dixie Boy Jordan Show" in
Wichita Falls, Texas, at the age of 14. He enlisted in the Navy in
January, 1955. The first half of his military tour was spent in
Pensacola, Florida, and the second half was in Atsugi, Japan. Jim was
discharged from the Navy in 1958.
Things were not so good when he returned in 1958. He picked cotton and
worked in the oilfields. He formed a small band, and they played "The
Davis Barn Dance": in Davis, Oklahoma. The band played for 1/2 of the
door money, and needless to say, it didn't last long. He moved to Fort
Worth, Texas in 1960. He attended trade school at night and worked at a
steel mill and an auto repair shop in the daytime. He performed on the
"Cowtown Hoe Down" in Fort Worth, and in numerous clubs in Oklahoma and
Texas.
When "Panther Hall" opened in the early 60's he performed on some of
the live TV shows from there on TV channel 11 (KTVT) in Fort Worth.
Jimmy and his wife, Jenny, (whom he married in 1956) recorded their
first 45 rpm record on the "panther" label in the early 60's. Their
oldest son, Jimmy Lee, Jr., was about 3 years old when Jimmy decided to
quit the music business. He became a Fort Worth firefighter in 1965.
For about 20 years he did not perform although everyone knew Jim really
missed performing during that time. His youngest son, David Lee, was
born in 1969.
After the children were grown, he started his musical career again. He
formed a band in the late 80's and called it, "Pure Country Band". He
recorded his first cassette tape in 1990, which was a tribute to Hank
Williams, Sr. called "Jimmy Eaves Sings the Hits of Hank Williams".
This recording was made while Jim was performing in the Fort Worth
Stockyards at a club called "The Longhorn Saloon" where he performed
for over 6 years. Two more recordings were made called "Jim Eaves Sings
Pure Country", (1997), and "Bringing Back Memories"(1999).
Jimmy and Frankie Miller (The Black Land Farmer) recorded a country
gospel CD called "Frankie Miller and Jimmy Eaves Singing Gospel Music
the Country Way" which was released in May, 2001, and is doing great.
Jimmy says it is a pleasure working with such a talented person as
Frankie Miller (The Blackland Farmer), and they tour together on most
shows. They have performed with many country artists such as Johnny
Bush, Darrell McCall, Willie Nelson, Claude Gray, Floyd Tillman, Tilmon
Frank, and many more over the last few years. Jimmy and Frankie were
guests on the "The Midnight Jamboree" at the Troubadour Theater in
Nashville, Tennessee, with Darrell and Mona McCall, and also in the
original "Ernest Tubb Record Shop" on Broadway in Nashville with host
George Hamilton IV.
Frankie and Jimmy host a county show in the "Fort Worth Stockyards" in
Fort Worth Texas. They have been doing this show for over 5 years, and
they have special guests such as Johnny Bush, Darrell and Mona, Billy
Walker, Bill Mack, and many more great folks. Sometimes it looks like a
DJ convention. Thanks a lot to David McCormick, Jim Stenson, and J.J.
Lockett, for all their support in keeping Country music "Country".

Jimmy and his wife, Jenny,
recorded a new CD titled "Listening To The Bluebird Sing" Released in
Nov. 2003, containing 1. I Heard The Bluebird Sing, 2. Next Sunday Is
My Birthday, 3. One Quarter At A Time, 4. Somewhere Between, 5. Whoever

Diamond Doug Brookins

Diamond Doug began his career at age 19, singing with folk groups. As the youngest member of the world famous New Christy Minstrels, he left all of that in search of something else. The answer to this question can be found in this enigmatic singer/songwriters new CD, "Hiding Behind Your Heart", Love, from the Heart of America. Doug sang with The Good Time Singers who were showcased on the Andy Williams Show for 3 years. He also sang on popular shows such as; The Danny Kaye Show, Red Skelton Show, and the Hollywood Palace. Several Years later Doug left L.A. for a small town in New Jersey. Now, 30 years later, he has embraced his music again with Tee Tasker and 5 time Gold ecord and Grammy winning arranger, Tony Davilio to produce (TBA) "Hiding Behind Your Heart" and the insirational "Let Go, Let God, Your There". Doug has also released a Christmas 2002 song called "A Godly Man Named Joseph"
Charming, Charismatic, Multi-Talented are only a few ways to describe Diamond Doug Brookins. Holding to his faith and convictions, he provides concise, heartfelt understanding and meaning to his music. His late father was a great piano player and member of the Avalon Boys with Chill Wills. Doug's father, Don, was the inspiration for Doug's great song "Daddy Won't You Play That Song Again". Doug wrote "Mama's Got Style" for his mothers 90th birthday.

Gladys Jones introduces her New CD "Somebody's Watching You" !

Gladys Jones
Gladys is accompanied by Johnny Ray on "Peace In The Valley".
**Gladys also has a new single, soon to be released on Ready Records called "Deliverance"**
From Gladys: I began my ministry in 1991. After much encouragement, I was soon singing in concerts and churches all over the east coast. By the grace of God, I had an experience that moved me. I remember the first time someone came to the alter while I was singing. I knew it wasn't anything I had done. It was by the drawing of the Holy Spirit of God. I feel the anointing of the Holy Spirit lead me to my calling. When I see the people of the street, if not for the grace of God, I know there goes me. I'm a member of His Laboring Few Biker Ministries. They do a mighty work for Jesus..... Gladys

Gospel Classics is pleased to welcome "Sharron Kay King" to our site!
Sharron Kay King
ELKHART , Ind. - One Day at a Time , Sharron Kay King's debut album for
Butler Music Group, is currently the featured CD on CDBaby.com.
CDBaby.com is an online music store that specializes in independent
artists. The site is the largest online independent music store on the
web and sells every genre of music.
CDBaby.com had this to say about the album: "Rarely is country gospel
this sweet, this feeling, this moving beyond belief. With the elegance,
emotion and charm of Emmylou Harris, Sharron Kay King's ringing vocals
lead these wonderful country songs with pure heart and soul. Fleshed
out with rich guitar, fiddle, sweet mandolin and an easy going beat,
One Step at a Time flows with such ease, it echoes the effortless flow
of streams coming to life in the Spring. Classic while remaining fresh
and original, this album will be spreading smiles and good feelings for
all who stop to be touched by it."
"I can't believe that such a great site like CDBaby.com would choose to
feature my CD," responded Sharron. "This is great news, and hopefully,
others who would not normally pick up a CD by a girl like me will give
my music a chance. This is a wonderful opportunity to spread the
Gospel!"
THINGS GOD HAS DONE WITH MY LIFE
I started writing songs soon after I gave my life to the Lord. Much to
my surprise, people actually liked them. Only then did I realize that
God was working through me to help other people.
I was not fully aware of the direction God was leading me but I knew
His hand was upon me. I finally subjected myself to His perfect will
after years of singing at revivals, fairs, homecomings, nursing homes
and even to prison inmates. He revealed to me that I must share my
testimony along with the songs He was giving me. It was then that I
realized I had been robbing God of the glory He so greatly deserved. I
understood my testimony could encourage others who were struggling in
this life to be happy.
God has opened many doors for me. I have shared my ministry with folks
throughout 14 states. I have also been blessed to share the stage with
some of Gospel Music's finest. I have been part of opening acts for
such artists as Jeff & Sheri Easter, Karen Peck & New River,
The Perry Sisters, The Kingsmen, The McGruders, and my dear friends The
Dunaways. Tammy Dunaway produced my 2nd album, All Is Well. I am
looking forward to my new album, One Step At A Time. Produced by Les
Butler of Family Music Group and Butler Music Group. My new album
should be available August 2004.
Let us go to the House of the Lord together! It is an honor for me to
tell what Jesus has done for me. He tells us in His words, "If we be
ashamed of Him, He would be ashamed of us." I don't ever want to be
found ashamed of Him or His amazing grace. I pray that all who hear my
testimony will be encouraged and all who hear my music will be
touched.
"And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;" Rev. 12:11
Beliefs:
We believe God is in control of all things all of the time. If we
concentrate on the misfortune in our lives it could easily weaken or
even destroy our faith. We all suffer misfortune. Upon reading about
the life of Jesus Christ; who am I to complain about such things? For
He willingly left His throne in Glory to live as a carpenters son. He
was beaten and mocked; spit upon and ridiculed for doing good and
bringing truth to mankind. Jesus suffered for all my sin, He died to
set me free. But, He arose the third day that I could live with Him
forever! WHAT AN AWESOME GOD WE SERVE!!!! WHAT LOVE! WHAT AMAZING
GRACE!!!
My desire is for God to be glorified in all that I do.
ABOUT SHARRON
In one single moment, God can change the heart and life of a person.
The greatest of sinners is never too far out of the reach of God's long
arm of love. Sharron Kay King is a testament to the awesome Grace of
God and His redeeming power. "I was saved in 1987 - completely set
free and delivered from over 13 years of a drug and alcohol addiction,"
recalled
Sharron. At the young age of 14, Sharron's life began to spiral
into a habit of drugs and alcohol. At the age of 27, Sharron's mother
disowned her - a time when her life was at her worst.
"I was so heavily involved in drugs and drinking that she absolutely
turned her back on me," said Sharron. "That was when God began to work
in my heart. My mother always prayed for me, and many nights I'm sure I
kept her up all night." "I was born again, July 25, 1987,"
remarked Sharron. "After being delivered from drugs and alcohol, you
can bet I had lots to sing and shout about! When God miraculously saved
me, I had such a desire to do something for him. I began to sing in the
church choir." Sharron attempted to play the guitar soon after
that, but she became discouraged at her lack of skill on the
instrument. Then one day, nearly two years later, Sharron heard a still
small voice telling her to pick it back up. "While walking past
the closet where I stored my guitar, I heard a small voice say, 'Pick
it up.' I turned to see that no one was there and again heard the words
'pick it up.' So, I picked up that old guitar and sat on the side of
the bed and much to my surprise, began to play music," Sharron
recalled.
"I tried several times to walk away from playing music and singing in
front of people, because I didn't think I was good enough to be a
professional," mentioned Sharron. "All that changed when I realized I
was called to be a carrier of the Good News of Jesus Christ." "I
know now that people are encouraged by my testimony," mentioned
Sharron. "I want my life to reflect the love and mercy that Jesus has
for me. I want to see people who think there is no hope find what they
have been searching for!" "I love singing about Lord! I can
express myself better in a song than I ever could speaking to any one.
My songs are my message and testimony." Sharron said. "I don't know
what God has in store for me in the future. What ever God bids me do, I
hope that He will find me willing and obedient to follow the path He
has laid before me." Sharron's closing comment, "Although my
Mother turned her back on me at the worst time of my life, I understand
now that was the best thing she could have possibly done. We don't
realize how precious something is in our life until we've lost it. My
Mother and I now are the best of friends. I'm so thankful she used
tough love. I'm sorry for the grief and hardship I put her through, but
I am ever so grateful for the outcome!"
